The Problem we solved

When tasked with spearheading a Kahlúa brand relaunch, our creative team knew highlighting the liquor's Mexican origins was key to revitalizing its identity. We conceived an integrated campaign immersed in the rich coffee-growing hills of Veracruz, where Kahlúa was first created.

The art direction brought the region to life through stunning photography and visuals steeped in cultural heritage. Meanwhile, the copywriting and scripts focused on Kahlúa's journey from Veracruz farm to cocktail glass.

By collaborating with acclaimed director Frederik Bond, we produced beautiful spots spotlighting Veracruz native Ana De La Reguera amidst lush coffee fields. The authenticity and passion Ana brought to the campaign was invaluable.

This reinvigorated brand platform centered on provenance helped reestablish Kahlúa as a premium coffee liqueur made for cocktail lovers seeking exceptional taste and quality. The strategic shift successfully increased sales 12% the following year as we meaningfully connected with target consumers.
